Before being selected to lead CBMC International, Chris spent 28 years in distinguished public service. As a Commanding Officer in the United States Marine Corps, he led Marines in some of the most demanding environments in the world. In 1999 he joined the United States Secret Service, where he protected seven American presidents and led elite teams on complex, high-stakes international missions. From 2003 to 2008 he served as Diplomatic Attaché to the nation of Colombia, where he earned the Medal of Valor.
That career shaped the way he leads. CBMC International operates as a global federation rather than a chain of command, which means the work moves on trust, conviction, and relationship instead of authority. Chris has spent his life building exactly that kind of influence, and he brings it to bear on a single aim: the Great Commission fulfilled in the global marketplace.
He is a keynote speaker in more than 40 nations, fluent in Spanish, and the publisher of Higher Ground, a monthly leadership series read by business leaders around the world.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Operational Leadership and History from Tulane University and a Master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Liberty Theological Seminary, where he is currently a doctoral candidate in Strategic Christian Ministry.
