CBMC International Presents: Global Day of Faith at Work

CBMC International is honored to partner with the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) and the Lausanne Workplace Network (LWN) for the inaugural Global Day of Faith at Work (GDFW) on May 1, 2025. This worldwide event will unite Christian professionals, businesses, ministries, and churches in celebrating work as worship and commissioning believers to live out their faith in the marketplace.
Announced at the Fourth Lausanne Congress in Seoul-Incheon, GDFW aligns with International Labor Day, emphasizing the significance of work as a divine calling. Inspired by Rev. Billy Graham’s belief that the next great move of God will happen through believers in the workplace, this initiative seeks to reshape how Christians engage with their professional lives, seeing their work as an opportunity for mission and discipleship.
What to Expect on May 1st:
- A global prayer event from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM local time, creating a wave of prayer across all time zones.
- Gatherings that reinforce the idea of work as worship, commissioning believers to see their workplaces as mission fields.
- Local and online events hosted by businesses, churches, seminaries, and organizations to equip and encourage Christian professionals.
