We welcome you to our Business Leaders’ Retreat, from Feb 7 – 10, 2019, in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.
We have carefully and deliberately chosen for “Inner peace” as our theme. In our meetings with businesspeople and young professionals all over Europe we discover how stress and busyness deprive many of us from inner peace. It makes sense that this happens. After all, we live in a demanding and competitive world. We are continuously asked to perform and give our very best. Meanwhile we can worry about new strong competitors, issues with colleagues, shortage of cashflow, our health, our future.
In the midst of all this God is saying: “There is a place you can come to. A place where I am. A place where I would like to restore your joy. Trust me, I am stronger than all the turmoil and anxiety you face and feel. Let the world be and know that I am God. Be still and know that I am in control and that I am with you (Free to Psalm 46)”.
There is no better medicine available on earth than God’s presence. We will therefore take you on a journey, away from the busyness and towards your Creator. Our retreat is meant to enable you to meet Him, so that you will be strengthened and return home fully recharged. Moreover, that you will have developed a lifestyle of intimacy with God that enables you to become resilient and stay connected in your daily busy life.

We will take you on a journey towards God and to develop a lifestyle of intimacy with God that enables you to become resilient and stay connected in your daily busy life. We call it a journey, because we will be travelling together from a life of demands to a life of inner peace.
In a sacred environment, you will receive Biblical teachings, you will be challenged, encouraged, and blessed. We trust that this will help you to (re)connect with God, and with yourself.

We will be staying at “De Koningshof”, a former abbey turned into a hotel and conference centre. It has both the serenity of an abbey, and the luxury of a hotel. It is located in the woods. This location will fit our purpose very well. De Koningshof is only 20 minutes away from Eindhoven Airport, an international and low-cost airport.
