Ravi Zacharias was born in India and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 20 years old and began pursuing a career in business management.
His interest in theology grew during his undergraduate education, as he went on to earn a Masters of Divinity from Trinity International University, as well as many honorary degrees from Houghton College, Tyndale College and Seminary and Asbury College.
For over 30 years he has been speaking all over the world on the disciplines of comparative religions, cults, and philosophy. He has been privileged to bring the main address at the National Day of Prayer in Washington DC, the Annual Prayer Breakfast at the United Nations in New York, as well as numerous universities, notably Harvard, Princeton, and Oxford University.
He has authored a number of books, including, Jesus Among Other Gods, Light in the Shadow of Jihad, and Walking From East to West: God in the Shadows.
He currently serves as President of Ravi Zacharias Ministries, whose mission is to reach and challenge those who shape the ideas of culture with the credibility of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He and his wife, Margie, have three grown children.
